Rediscover beauty through swapping

Selling a lipstick you never used is a hassle, and buying someone else’s feels uncertain. Swapping removes the money from the conversation: you trade what you have for what you want, and every member receives something they chose.

The hard part is finding the match. That’s what SwapMyBeauty’s matching engine is for: it looks across members to build two- and three-way exchanges that work for everyone involved.

We don’t hold inventory or run a warehouse. Members ship directly to each other with prepaid labels, and SwapMyBeauty coordinates the swap: proposals, approvals, labels, tracking and support.

We earn a small service fee from each member for each completed swap: 5% of the value you receive plus $0.70, never more than $7.99. Shipping costs are passed through at the carrier’s rate, never marked up as revenue.

SwapMyBeauty is opening in the New York Tri-State area (New York, New Jersey and Connecticut) first, so members have products to swap nearby; the rest of the contiguous US follows. We welcome new members in small groups so every Closet has products to swap, and we check every listing before it goes live. Members who join before December 31, 2026 are our Early Members: they help us shape the service, and their feedback goes straight to the team.
